www.yuanyuanspa.comThere are so many massage places to choose from in Chinatown and this one is a little off the beaten path. By the way I am a graduate of massage and traditional Chinese medicine in Chicago. A colleague recommended I go here and I am so glad I did. I had spent a weekend driving and so my lower back was sore and my left arm. Anna was my therapist and her English is very limited so I didn't say much other than relaxation massage. She did an amazing job and to my surprise could tell my lower back was sore and started spending more time there with heated oils and herb blends. She later asked if my arm was sore as she was working my left deltoid. I said yes and used white flower ointment and massaged the muscle. Please note that I had said nothing, but she could tell she is a very petite and small lady with very strong massage techniques. I highly recommend this place as my number one go to store. Thank you. I am now a regular.
Very good massage. Professional and can speak some English. Massages head to toe and does the feet and head massage very well. If you come, ring the doorbell if door is locked like alot of places in Chinatown.
Talked thru my entire foot massage to her coworker. Rushed thru the massage. Also the pricing on the window is old. Why not take the sign down if the pricing is inaccurate?
Decided to get a couples foot massage for an hour and sit next to my husband. What happened was us getting separate rooms and told to remove our clothes and lay down on table. The next thing you know, were getting a not so full body massage. The person that worked on me occasionally asked about the pressure which was fine on certain areas only. However, even when I said less pressure - nothing happened with pressure change. So now I'm feeling achey more than relaxed. I had areas being overly worked on and areas such as our foot not being touched. Which is odd, cause thats the service we had wanted and paid for. Since my husband was fine with the pressure - I'm giving 2 stars rather than 1. As far as tips go, we were basically getting ourselves scammed of an additional $10 when breaking a large bill... I know its tough making a living but thats just not right giving less change to your customers when we aren't even getting the right services. Is a $25 tip per person no longer good enough? I would definitely recommend this place if you come here knowing you might be getting incorrect services. If you're not new to massages, please save yourself the time and money and just skip this place. This was a terrible experience for us unfortunately. Best of luck with anyone that would like to try the place. I wish the business well.
Came paid for deep tissue massage, maybe 10 minutes into the massage I asked the lady could she massage harder. She was just rubbing my back, back and forth.idk if she was new or what but it felt as if she was still in training. Soon I asked her to call in the lady that speaks English. I explained to her I paid for a deep tissue what I getting was not a deep tissue by far. She explain to the lady and she said okay. Nothing changed, I did not tip for that matter I was not satisfied with the service I received, when I got up to get dress my back was stiff the same way I came. Once finish tha lady left out I’m thinking she’s about to let me get dress, she came back in and begin to fold a few towels that was in the room, like let the customer get dress before you do all of that. I know she came back in expecting a tip and that I was not doing. Service was not well. Will not be returning.
