Shavonne is exceptional. She knows what she's doing. Great pressure, super friendly. She put me at ease and handled my body quite well. Very friendly, excellent conversationalist. I definitely want to come back on the regular. So much better than the last couple bodywork treatments I have gotten elsewhere. Excellent job! Go see her, you won't be disappointed. She's got the touch!
Seems like She never had plans to do the massage and keep the money! I scheduled 2 massages. Both massages had to be rescheduled multiple times. She double booked herself then had a hair appointment. Then said in car accident and couldn’t do it. I requested a refund and a week and half later my bank confirmed that she had not initiated a refund. I would not waste your time. After doing more investigating, I find that this is very common for her. Adding one last screenshot from today. She made sure and told me she hated Groupon and people who use it. SMH
I hadn't had a massage in quite some time and I was worried that I would be in severe pain during and after my massage. Shavonne did a amazing job getting the areas I really needed attention to with just the right amount of pressure and I don't feel to sore today either which is great! She even took the time on her day off!
**PLEASE READ** If I had reviewed Shavonne after my first Groupon appointment, I would have given her 5 stars. I purchased a package of 6 massages and also referred her to other friends. As my package massages progressed, customer service and quality decreased drastically. She cancelled more appointments than she kept. My breaking point was when I was sitting in the waiting room for my massage and she had double-booked another massage. She was texting me (while with another client) apologizing and asking me to wait another hour for her. I politely declined and asked for a refund of the remaining massages left on my package. She offered a $60 refund to my card that I would receive within 10 business days. This was on 12/29/2018 and by 1/24/2019 I had not received any type of refund. I reached out to her and she said she could send me a check. I gave her my work address and instead of sending a check, she came into my office on 2/4/2019 and left $45 cash at the front desk for me. She had lied about sending the check and it was $15 short of what she had originally promised. I reached out to her asking why it was short and she said "that is what I think I deserve to give you" and "I am not giving you any more of my time or money" and "you have been a nightmare to work with". She then proceeded to block me. I am not sure how expecting punctual and quality customer service is being a nightmare. If I could give zero stars to Love of Hands, I would. You are so much better off getting massage services from any other business in town.
Within my limited time of dealing with her, she was both unprofessional and her communication was absolutely terrible. I tried to book with her three times. The first time I was heading out the door when she cancelled to tell me that she was having car issues. Ok fine. So I rescheduled for a week later, go to my appointment and am sitting in the waiting room for her. 15 minutes go by and I text her to tell her I am there, she then responds to tell me she forgot and then proceeds to reschedule me for a THIRD time, but says she will give me extra time for the inconvenience. Ok sure. Then that day comes and of course, last minute she cancels my appointment. Like I said, unprofessional and poor communication. I would never try to book with her again and would never recommend her to anyone.
