I went to get a message because I’ve been very stressed lately, and thought some self care would be a nice way to relax. I’ve never experienced so much chaos, in 90 minutes. I’m not sure if they were short staffed or not, but let me tell you - this little store seems like mayhem. The phone was ringing off the hook, and woman giving me the massage was the one who answered it every time. Her English was very poor. At one point, one person was calling to say they left something there from earlier in the day, and she couldn’t understand what they were asking. She literally handed me the phone and asked if I could deal with it for her. It was a very uncomfortable situation to be the middle man between someone telling me they left something there and her saying they didn’t. The other people calling in kept calling to make appointments, and she kept saying ok to everyone, regardless of how unavailable she clearly was. Someone called asking for a 90 minute massage, and then they showed up and she said she could only do a 30 or 60 minute massage. All of this was taking place while I was still laying on the table, and she’d have to keep going back out and in. The woman kept apologizing, and to be honest, she was very sweet. I feel bad leaving a negative review, but it was just so much chaos, I think I was more stressed during the massage than before I even went in. The massage itself wasn’t bad. It was a little odd though. I assumed it’d be a more traditional full body massage, but instead it was just a back massage and a foot massage. I got a 90 minute massage, and she spent about 40 minutes massaging my back, and about 20 minutes on each foot. That’s it. I would have liked more of a complete massage, but considering just the massage itself, it was still nice. Because of this, I’m giving it two stars instead of one. I could tell the lady was overwhelmed, and I feel bad, but I think they need a better scheduling system and they need to work on the customer service when they have someone there. There was another person getting a massage in the next room (they were there before I got there) and all I kept hearing was them complaining about how noisy it was and how much was going on. At one point, it sounded like they had a few dogs in the back room and they just started barking for about 5 minutes straight. I appreciate that this place is well priced, but I’d think twice before going back after the experience I had.

I had the pleasure of visiting Joy Massage Spa quite some time ago, and my first impression of this quaint little place was nothing short of delightful. Despite its small size, it boasts four cozy rooms, and the manager, a warm-hearted lady, made me feel incredibly welcome. While her language skills may not have been perfect, her enthusiasm and eagerness to understand and meet my needs were truly commendable, and I grew quite fond of her during my visit. Let me break down my review of this establishment into several key aspects. First and foremost, cleanliness and tidiness are top-notch here. The environment is incredibly comfortable, with dim lighting that creates the perfect ambiance for relaxation. As for pricing, it's incredibly reasonable; I doubt you'll find such value for money anywhere else in Beverly Hills, or even in all of LA. The entire staff exudes warmth and hospitality, and their service is nothing short of attentive. I felt genuinely cared for and at home here, which is a testament to their dedication to customer satisfaction. Returning to LA recently, I didn't hesitate to revisit Joy Massage Spa. The ambiance remained as cozy as ever, and they've even added aromatherapy, which instantly transported me into a state of relaxation the moment I stepped through the door. I opted for a 90-minute combo, and it worked wonders in alleviating my recent fatigue. Before I leave LA, I definitely plan to visit a few more times; this place has become a highlight of my trip.

Joy Massage Spa is a great place in Beverly Hills. Despite its small size, it offers cozy rooms and a warm-hearted manager who ensures a welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the pricing is unbeatable for LA. The staff is incredibly attentive and hospitable, making you feel cared. Highly recommended!

I had the most incredible experience at this foot massage shop! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The staff here are true experts in their craft. The foot massage I received was nothing short of amazing. They skillfully worked on all the pressure points in my feet, leaving me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long, tiring day. The cleanliness and hygiene standards at this establishment are top-notch, which is especially important to me in these times. I felt comfortable and safe throughout my visit. The pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of service you receive. I'll definitely be returning for another session soon. If you're looking for a place to get a fantastic foot massage, this is the spot to go! Highly recommended!
