The owners are very kind and good at what they do. Great price for what you get. Keep in mind though that English is not their primary language, so some patience is required when conducting business with them. And it's not gonna be the best massage you will ever receive. But again though it's very good for what you pay, and you can get an appointment the same day of calling in. So it's a great option if you need a massage on a short notice, which is what happened with me. Another massage facility canceled on me day of my appointment, but I was able to find Balance Chi which was able to take me in same day. Very grateful for them.

I never really leave reviews but I have to here. Amazing experience. Great price, great massage (and I have been to multiple places here in Madison and around trying to find a good place since moving here). They asked about pressure, where I was sore and followed up throughout the massage to ensure I was having a great experience and the pressure was good. Super polite and friendly. Will be a returning customer!

Disappointing Experience I visited this massage place expecting a relaxing experience, but what left a sour taste was the tipping expectation. After paying $70 for the massage, the therapist asked me for a tip! I found this to be inappropriate and frustrating. The massage itself was average, but the awkwardness of being asked for extra money overshadowed any potential benefits. I wouldn't recommend this place.

I thoroughly enjoyed this massage and I've had literally hundreds in my life. I was visiting from Philadelphia for business and never had a massage quite like this. The lady literally stood on my body the first 5 or 10 minutes and got support from overhanging beams and I just thought did a tremendous job but it's not for the faint of heart! If you get a deep tissue massage you should expect that it will be deep! Well worth the money.

As long as you know what to expect (read the other reviews), I had a good experience here! It's definitely not a spa, with the massage therapist having to leave when other customers walked in the door, but it's so easy to get an appointment or walk in and my massage was good! We booked a couple's hot stone massage about a week in advance, when we couldn't find anything else open on such short notice. My complaint is the blanket being too short so my feet were freezing during my massage, and being left only partially covered at a few points so I got chilly. She did make sure to check the pressure I wanted and whether it was ok during the massage. We were in the same room for our couple's massage booking, too. We've never had a hot stone massage so we didn't know what to expect, but that part isn't something I'd recommend here at least. We would come back here again though!
