kanghuamassage.onbuildhealth.comI do not recommend Kang Hua Spa. The only reason they have all five-star reviews is because they offer a discount if you give one (so they buy five-star reviews basically). At one point, my masseuse had to leave for a few minutes in the middle to go help another customer. And the massage itself was very aggressive and painful - my upper back is sore the next day, which is kind of the opposite of what you want. I still gave them a big tip because I felt bad, but I imagine there are better options. It was my first time trying any spa in the area, so I'm not sure how it compares, but I will try a different one in the future if I want a massage.
Amazing massage service! I came first for my back and came back for my foot! My new favorite place in New York City!
[adjusted review after second experience] The first time I came, I had a good experience but unfortunately my second time was not as good. I booked a hot stone massage but the hot stones were only used for 2 minutes out of the hour. The staff were having full blown conversations during it (including my masseuse) which made it difficult to relax.
We made a last minute appointment every one was super nice! I did request a female therapist and got a male I still give 5 stars because I really didn’t care. The massage was great and he really worked on my knots in my back. My husband enjoyed his massage as well!
Such a great experience overall. The massage therapist did an amazing job of identifying my knots in my trap muscles and back and got them out. Will definitely be back!
