www.heavenonearthfootspa.comBEFORE THE “MASSAGE” 1. I called and asked the price for an hour massage and was told $50. Which seemed low, so I asked “$50?”, to which they confirmed. When I arrived they kind of laughed and said “No, I said $60.” But sure, miscommunication happens. 2. Their website shows they have a 10% military discount, and when I asked for it they said “We don’t have a military discount” and when I said their website shows it, they said “Oh we have a new (owner or manager)” and didn’t honor their website’s discount. 3. They had me pay before the massage, and charged $5 because I used a card (which I understand), but they wanted me to tip before I got the massage. I refused to fill the tip portion before the massage, but they refused to start the massage until I at least signed it, saying they’ll hold onto it at the front for me to fill in after. It was weird and these three things made me go in with doubt and discomfort. DURING THE MASSAGE Out of all the massages I’ve had in my life (probably over 40), this was the most disorganized, painful, anti-relaxing. 1. The begin, I dressed to my comfort level which include a clean pair of no-show socks and laid facedown on the table (the position which I would stay in for the whole “hour”) and immediately, the masseuse tries to take off my sock. This disregard for boundaries continued to create stress for me. 2. The masseuse spent about 40 minutes on my shoulders and back, like 5 minutes on my scalp, and about 5 everywhere else with less than a minute on each calf/leg. You may be wondering what happened to the other 10 minutes. Well, it seemed like they counted the time I walked in the door while we were trying to figure out the price. Then they walked away 3 times. Cumulatively, I was able to count to around 260 seconds. 3. The pain. The masseuse was continuously putting their full body weight into their elbow against my spine (the bone.) I welcome that against the muscles, but the spine? I left in pain thinking that it would be over the next day, but I am in pain still. I went for a relaxing massage because I have a fitness test coming up, and now I can’t even do a pushup without being in pain. 4. At some point, another person came in and the two of them were speaking to each other during the massage, but this only lasted a minute or two. Small, but notable. They did offer a water after the end. All in all, I would not recommend.
I recently had a very disappointing experience at this Chinese massage parlor that I feel compelled to share. Right from the start, they pressured me into giving a $20 tip before the massage even began, which set a negative tone for the visit. The massage itself was subpar and didn’t even last the promised hour. When it was time to leave, I mentioned that my ride would be there in 10 minutes, and instead of understanding, they repeatedly asked how long I was planning to stay, making me feel rushed and unwelcome. The staff was incredibly rude throughout the whole experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone; it was the worst massage experience of my life.
Went in 2 weeks ago. I don’t know what exactly happened internally but I can’t turn my head to the right. They did it last minute with the towel. They place the towel behind neck and pull, be smart and don’t let them. I thought it would go away so I didn’t mention but nope 👎 in pain and can’t turn head.
Been having back pain for a while and finally treated myself to a massage which was best decision ever. She was a magician!!! Have to make a point of going once a month because I feel like a new man. Highly recommend!!! Amazing!!!
I recently went here for the first time for a 1 hour full body massage. The masage was absolutely amazing and the prices were great. I will definitely be coming again for a massage. She got all of my knots out.
