I made a reservation for four sessions of massage, and then I was informed that I was going to be charged with additional 20% of "service". In other words, I will have to pay almost an additional massage session. I cannot believe that this would be possible, because: 1) I do not know is the service was going to be satisfactory 2) Pay a fixed additional fee without the agreement of the customer is not a friendly and fair policy Of course, I cancelled my appointments! I have read the manager's response and understand the context. However, I am still consider that applying additional 20% of service is not a friendly, fair and transparent policy. As customer you pay gratuity after the service is given, and if you are satisfied with whatever was provided to you. I have been in different spas and this is the first time that I have this experience. Furthermore, the staff and therapists are supposed to be "fairly compensated" by the institution, and recognized by the customers with an according gratuity.

My spouse and I came here this past Sunday to celebrate a late Valentine’s Day massage together. We have gotten massages before and this place is definitely in our top favorites! We booked another appointment for a couple months out before we left we loved it so much! The spa is located within the Westin hotel but is easy to access. It’s quiet, clean, well stocked, and staff is so kind and professional. There is a little waiting area with blankets and tea as well as a changing area with robes and sandals. We opted for the salt stones with our massage and we highly recommend! They have other adds on as well like skin wraps or aromatherapy options. We paid $510.00 total for both our 90 minute massages with the stones and gratuity included. (20% gratuity is automatically added to all services) Since we had a couple massage we were together in one room and had two massage therapists, Zach and Kaitlin. Zach has the hands of a God. Absolutely best massage ever. I was relaxed for days after and things that hadn’t been stretched in months felt renewed. My spouse enjoyed her massage with Kaitlin as well but said she wished it was a full body massage. She said she didn’t massage her legs, feet, or hands, which we thought was odd. Zach didn’t massage my feet (I don’t mind) but we just thought it was odd as we booked massages and usually that encompasses the whole body. Next time we go we will just make sure to clarify with our therapists but overall highly recommend this spa for anyone needing a relaxing place to reset!

as an LMT myself I can say with some added credibility how wonderful of a massage therapist Bonny is!! She was attentive and worked very well on my troubled areas. I am very happy with the increased range of motion in my neck :) also emily was wonderful and made the whole experience extra comforting. Can't wait to come back and try and new service ❤️
