Got to hand it to Cameron at Shine On, this place is awesome! I’m so excited to have found a local spot (not a chain spa) with sauna and cold plunge. The room is private with clean towels and drinking water. Feels like you’re in a log cabin in the woods. The sauna has infrared and heats to over 150+. The cold plunge is a chilly 48 and is the best thing I’ve found for these old knees! Not to mention the invigorating high after soaking for several minutes. Just when I thought I’d experienced all Wilmington had to offer, I got to experience Shine On Massage Therapy down here in the cargo district! I’m looking forward to booking a couples massage and sauna/cold plunge date night with my wife very soon! Highly recommended - y’all need to check this place out!

First time visiting Shine On and it won’t be my last. Cam was super friendly and welcoming. He ran through all the details and was very attentive. Facility is very clean! Love the aesthetic. We did the Sauna + Cold Plunge package and I feel like a new human, such a great experience! I went with my girlfriend and it was a great day date. We will 100% be regulars at Shine On!

Let me start off by saying I’ve had PLENTY of massages in my life. But NONE that even compared to the type of massage you will experience here. I let them choose the masseuse, and I was BLESSED to have Malak. She specializes in Trauma Therapy (which I didn’t know before booking). And let me tell you that if you are looking for ultimate relaxation AND “therapy” all together, please please go to her. (I say therapy in quotes because it’s not like we talked, but the technique she has literally brought me to tears) it was so beautiful. On top of that, I did the Cold Plunge/Sauna add on which was another amazing experience in itself. You get a the whole room to yourself (beautifully decorated). You can connect and play your own music. They provide the robes, towels, water, etc. I’ve never cold plunged before so it was nice to be able to go at my own pace and switch back and forth between the plunge and the sauna. All in all, 1000/10 experience.

Malak gave me the best massage I have ever had. I came in with a tweak in my neck and walked out with full mobility. I could literally feel the knots leaving my body. The rooms were very nice with great ambience- a crackling (fake) fireplace and. calming music. Would totally and completely recommend to anyone who needs relaxation and tension release!
