Just had an amazing experience at Salamander Vitality. I call it an experience and not just a great massage because of all that is put into the session. The vibrations of the various soft instruments of the " Sound Bath " provide an exciting energy starting the massage. Brett is very accommodating to focus on your problem areas. Combine that with how he applies the hot stones, relaxing lotion and hot towels, I knew right away that 60 minutes was too short. Brett is also a class act gentleman. Very kind and genuinely concerned about your well being. If you are looking for a great massage and a relaxing energizing experience, you won't be disappointed at Salamander Vitality. It had been over 3 years since I had last gotten a massage, and my body was in need of some healing. I have lived in many places and had many massages - of all kinds, and I have never had an experience like I did with Brett. The aromatherapy, temperature, ambience, music, instruments, and of course the massage made for an incredibly relaxing and healing experience. It’s rare to find a healer with the innate intuition on what areas need work and how they should be worked on. No doubt he is a great listener to needs and concerns, but it’s also refreshing to know your in the hands of someone who can sense what you need without you saying a word. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated that entire day after my massage (my massage was in the morning) and I slept like a baby that night. I’m blown away by Brett and his abilities as a therapist. I originally started sessions with Brett for Myofacial release for a host postpartum issues and within a few sessions, they were all resolved. He intuitively reads the body well and is highly skilled at manipulating based on needs that day. He’s also the only therapist that I’ve seen that incorporates a sound bath, and energetic healing with his massages. I continue to use Brett and likely will indefinitely. He’s one of the best not just in Wilmington, but anywhere. I highly recommend him.
