On May 9th, 2024, our school gifted three teachers with massage therapy provided by Hands in the Sands. Owner Julie Romero delivered a top-notch experience, from from the first phone call to the final service! We were immediately intrigued by the pictures on her website. Getting in contact with Julie was easy. She was professional and warm. When we told her what we were planning, she was just as excited as we were, because she’s a former teacher! The bus did not disappoint! We wanted to surprise our teachers with the bus making a big entrance and Julie accommodated that. She was punctual and kept us abreast via text with her ETA and instructions to time the surprise perfectly. Inside, the bus was immaculate. There was calming aromatherapy, soft lighting and fresh decor. There was a small sink and a toilet, also immaculate. We had a parking space and access to a basic three-pronged outlet for power, but she can provide a generator too. The teachers raved about the services, one teacher giving it a ten out of ten. Julie’s caring and enthusiasm stood out most. Book her!!!!!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Julie! She is highly skilled in massage therapy but also warm, kind, and so approachable. Her pricing is fair and she truly goes above and beyond. She gave 6 teenage girls at a birthday 30-min massages and each girl was on cloud 9. She let them all choose their service and made them all feel so comfortable. I’d recommend Julie for a special event any day! It made for a memorable, relaxing party!

I met Julie a couple of years ago, and have not been disappointed in any of her services! She goes above and beyond to make every appointment extra special! She seems to know what I really need before I do! She is very thoughtful and caring and doesn’t mind my talking, or my silence if needed. The bus is lovely and has her personal touches everywhere, so comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend her for all your massage therapy sessions!
