It took me nearly a year to find a massage therapist who truly helps with my back issues. To clarify, I don’t have any major mechanical or serious medical problems, but due to my active lifestyle—both in sports and physical work—my body requires regular recovery. Pavel from the American and European Massage Clinic has been exceptional in addressing my needs. I discovered this place through a recommendation, and my first visit left a great impression. The clinic operates out of a dedicated professional office space, not just a room in someone’s apartment or a casual setting. It’s part of a commercial building, which immediately gives it a professional feel. From the moment you walk in, the calm and pleasant atmosphere is noticeable. There’s soothing music, a relaxing aroma, and the entire space invites you to unwind. The massage room itself is immaculately maintained, with dim lighting, soft music, and a gentle fragrance in the air. A humidifier adds to the comfort, creating an ideal environment for relaxation. The massage table is incredibly comfortable—so much so that I almost always doze off during the session. Unlike other places I’ve been to, where the face cushion was often very thin that I could feel its hard frame beneath the padding, the setup here is perfect. The face cushion is soft enough to maintain comfort even when pressure is applied. This level of attention to detail makes all the difference. Pavel himself is very skilled. He’s strong and capable of performing deep tissue work, yet he manages to create a soothing experience that often puts me to sleep. When it’s time to turn onto your back, he dims the lights even further, practically working in darkness. I have no idea how he manages this, but it enhances the whole experience. I’ve been coming here for several months now, and I’m more than satisfied with the quality of service, especially considering how reasonable the prices are. The balance of cost, quality, and professionalism is outstanding. This clinic provides a professional setting and exceptional service, and I’ve recommended it to several friends. I have been to many practitioners but whenever I'm in Raleigh I go here. I worked as a nurse and so I lifted heavy patients and would sometimes feel pain after work. Vladimir has a great technique. You will love it....best of all you will be pain free and totally relaxed. The owner has written books on massage technique and teaches courses at his practice. If you have any pain from a strain I would absolutely recommend going here first. Always on time, professional, and very reasonable.

Really impressed. I was getting my car fixed down the street, and had a lot of stress tension in my neck and shoulders. I looked them up and scheduled an appointment. You get every minute you pay for. A lot of places shave off five minutes on the front and in the backend of the massage. Not here. The room and table was average; nothing exceptional. But the quality of the massage certainly was!
