It’s a really nice atmosphere, I really relaxed for 1 hour and Lauren gave attention to the areas I feel tension and pain. After weeks of traveling, sleeping in hotel beds, I was experiencing extreme pain in my upper back and neck. My massage therapist Chad was knowledgeable and compassionate, understanding my immediate needs and was able to provide me with some immediate relief. His massage technique is outstanding and he suggested further treatment towards total relief. I would highly recommend this spa for their professionalism and sensitivity to one’s needs.

I made an appointment back in August with my mother for a 'relaxing' stone works package massage; we were set to be in the same room at the same time with two different masseuses. When the appointment was made I already had put down a $100 deposit for the service. The morning of my service, I noticed that the price on the website had increased since I made my appointment, by $20. I had received no phone call, text, email or any notice at all prior to, or even upon checking in that the price would be higher than when I originally booked. All that was there a sign that stated due to certain reasons the prices would be increasing, but this sign was hidden behind two displays on the front desk so I could not read the entire sign. Upon arrival I asked if my $100 deposit was accounted for as a woman named Noelle who I spoke with confirmed she made a note. It took three minutes of back and forth for them to 'confirm' that I had in fact placed a deposit, but there was no note left. Our 2.5 hour service started a few minutes late, which is understandable. However, it ended a few minutes early as well. When I was leaving and ready to pay, I was informed that I 'should double my tip as I had already paid $100 upfront, so I was not tipping on the total cost of the service'. I was extremely uncomfortable with this, as it was a decent service, but being essentially asked to tip more, after already being told I have to pay more for the same service I was already expecting. After I paid, and my mother was paying for her service with a $90 gift card, she was given the same message about tipping. We both tipped 20% of our totals, which I think was fair overall. However, as my mother was paying, the woman who did her massage was standing behind the counter with the receptionist and commented how many tips she received that day, and that she could 'barely close her box'. The woman then commented how jealous Chad (the owner, and my masseuse) gets when she makes more in tips than him. I do not inherently think that they are bad people, as they are friendly, but this entire experience was extremely off putting, and I sadly will not be returning. Just a heads up to those that do want to go, pay the entirety upfront in case they choose to raise prices again. ** Update next day** I received a call today at 11:24am and the owners wife handled this situation extremely well. I was made aware that the staff were spoken to in regard to the situation yesterday. I completely understand as well that prices increase, I am in the business world as well and know how expensive everything is, hence why I love to support local! She did acknowledge that a bit of time had been shaved off of our service and took full accountability, despite her not being at fault. The conversation was extremely professional, and I was granted an amount back overdue for the discrepancy in price, and I believe my mother will be as well. Overall I was appreciative of the conversation, though will certainly need time to decide if I will be willing to return.

I have had the good fortune of experiencing several different kinds of massages with many of the wonderful massage therapists at Stonework. I love the very warm pool and the different classes from poolates, breath/ yoga in the pool. This place has a peaceful atmosphere and very beautiful with very friendly staff!

HIGHLY recommend Stoneworks for a variety of spa treatments. I have had many massages with Chelsea and several gel manicures with Bianka and I think these ladies are the BEST! Have also participated in the pool Yoga which was very nice too.
