I have been to Revive several times since last year. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and polite. They are skilled and my experience there has been pleasant. When I need a good massage I go to Revive.

I was looking for a massage that near the RV park I am at while visiting my family in Tucson, Az. Revive Spa was near and I went there. I got a great massage from Sherry for a hour and felt so relaxed during and after, I am a snowbird and have to go back to Virginia, but will return in December for two weeks. Will be going back to Revive Spa when here.

Kk opened the door sand told me to pay ahead for 30 min. It was $40. I said ok. Being on a budget I saved ahead to make sure I had enough for 30 min and a $5 tip. $45. However, kk said she requested a $10 tip minimum. I explained my budget and that I wouldn’t be able to pay the extra $5 she laughed and said come on it’s only $5. Now she doesn’t know who I am or the fact that I have seven-month-old twin babies that I carry in my arms nurse to feed. I also maintain my home just like every other mom all I needed was 30 minutes to unwind for myself. Working part time I was so happy to be able to spend a little bit of money on myself, but even the five extra dollars would’ve put me over budget. It’s not laughable. She insisted two times and then when I told her I couldn’t pay the extra five. She said that’s fine don’t worry about it. But she had already expressed herself clearly, and expressed her disappointment. I couldn’t stay. I put my card back in my purse apologized and I left. And now I’ve used up my free time for me and I have to wait possibly another week before I have even a moment to myself embarrassing experience I’ve had. You can blame it on the language barrier, regardless, I’ve never been treated so poorly. I will never come back here again I’m sure they do good work, but I can’t support a place that requires payment before treatment, and also requires a set tip amount for 30 minutes. Anything that you receive as a tip is based on your merit if you’ve not given any type of service, but nothing should be received. I wish things had gone differently.
