I purchased a Groupon for Lymphatic massage this mom of 4 so needed it. I called to make appointment the receptionist was very nice and polite while helping me find the best time because of my busy schedule. Well today was my first appointment at new haven spa and my morning started off ruff so by the time I arrived at my afternoon appointment I was mentally over my session before it even started. I recommend for you to get to location 15 minutes prior to find parking. The spa is located inside a medical building so the parking was full I had to park a block away on the grass (praying for my car not to get towed .) I found the spa quickly on the 2nd floor Door 204 . I knocked and was greeted by receptionist she asked my name and Groupon info the waiting area was decorated nicely relaxing music . I was asked if I would like water or use rest room before entering my room . I entered room the lady was so nice gave me instructions. Fast forward to the massage she was gently and quickly made me feel comfortable and relaxed. This was my first Lymphatic massage at this location and felt great after the session. The room was clean smelling good there was relaxing music playing in the background . After massage she gave me water asked if I had to use rest room or sit and relax a bit . I gave her a $20 tip and I had to leave right away ...remember my car . Thank god my car was still there and I left quickly.

I’m very DISAPPOINTED in this place. I believe communication goes a long way. Because communication failed from them or lead to bad experience and service. On my way to spa I had an unfortunate emergency that I rather not going into details. After I solved my emergency I called the spa to speak to the owner to explain my situation and see if they can make an exception and take me at 11am instead of 10:30am for my 90 min package. There was no answer, so I proceeded to text the number. I asked through text if they’ll make an exception due to my unexpected emergency. The person that answered the text “sure no problem, drive safe”. I said thank for making the exception and apologized for any inconvenience. Well, guess what?!?! She didn’t give me the full services and rushed through the massage and facial. Obviously I don’t have a watch or cell on me I felt it was rushed but didn’t say anything cause I wasn’t 100% sure until she finished and I immediately went to my cell. This is where everything went wrong NO COMMUNICATION. I asked the therapist what happened I thought she was making an exception. That’s when she tells me that sh already had someone at noon; which I get but why not explain that over the phone or when I got there/ the. I said I would’ve rescheduled. She responded there was a charge again she didn’t say that over the phone. She never gave me any options or anything explain that she couldn’t make an exception. She doesn’t know if for me it was better to pay the rescheduling fee than having a rushed massage and facial. Or maybe I could’ve just chosen to have just the massage and come back for the facial. I didn’t know my options, didn’t know she had another client at 12pm, didn’t know the rescheduling fee, and she made it seem through text that she was giving me an exception due to my emergency (i was thinking she didn’t have another client and that’s why she was accepting it). I’m a new client this was Christmas gift from my brother and I was looking for are for a nice and much needed massage. The owner needs to retrain about communicating with the clients and being clear when Responding to text messages. I totally understand she couldn’t give me a longer service because it’ll affect the next client but she never communicated that to me, never gave me any options and responded yes about my request of making an exception. I’m so disappointed…smh! I wish she would’ve rolled about this before giving me the services. I would’ve either chosen to just do massage and lose the facial or paid for the rescheduling fee. It wasn’t worth it for me to have a rushed massage and facial in an hour.

Listen to me, I am ready to go back for my hydrafacial ! You cannot beat the price! My face, i left there with it looking so moisturized and hydrated and GLOWING! She also has great skin. I went for hydrafacial and neck and back massage! She is very well responsive to texts and flexible to appointments. Great customer service. I felt relaxed. The room is dim and relaxing music. The facial was LONG & I was HAPPY for that. My only qualms are: 1. I could hear people talking outside at times, which was a bit disruptive to my service but that may not be in her control. It is something to note though. 2. I also do wish she gave me tips and suggestions for what to do for my skin. After a facial, I think that should be part of the professional service- tailored tips or suggestions on skin care for ur type of skin.

Great seeing and having Lourdemy work on my upper shoulder, neck area to release all that tight stress area. So glad I purchased a package so I could use next year 2025 as I treat myself along the way.
