www.lavenderspany.comWow. There are a number of spas and parlors in Great Neck/Bayside, but this one is truly exemplary. The employees take an open, skillful approach to therapy, and really listen to your needs. The facility is clean and peaceful, and the staff was professional. I will definitely be visiting again!
I really like the service at this store. A friend introduced me to it. My muscles used to be very stiff, and my knees a bit painful. After a few massages, this condition has improved a lot. Their environment is very comfortable. The service is very punctual after making an appointment. The masseur's technique is also very professional. Moreover, their location is very convenient. They have their own parking lot at the back. I am very satisfied with all aspects of their service.
Spa comfortable and clean , but the massage technique is poor, Maybe the woman who gave me the massage had the worst technique in lavender spa, and I specifically asked her name‘ Megan ’ so that I could avoid her next time If I'm visit this spa again,
Had an amazing relaxation experience at Lavender Spa today. Wendy's skills are highly professional, and the environment is clean, quiet, and serene. I purchased a yearly membership and plan to try their beauty services next time.
Location: 4/5 stars (northern blvd is a busy street) Cleanliness: 5/5 stars Massage: 3/5 stars Staff: 4/5 stars Parking: 3.5/5 stars (street parking hit or miss) I needed to book something last minute. I found this spot near me and went with the Google reviews, so this was my first visit. Their online booking makes it easy to get an appointment quickly. I booked an hour deep tissue massage & 30 mins reflexology. Note: I went during off hours PROS: Easy appointments and communications via text/online. You get a punch card for your visits and you'll get a free hr after 10 visits. Very clean and inviting with a friendly receptionist. The beds are comfortable and heated. The deep tissue massage was enjoyable. They do a little bit of hot stone treatment and stretching as well towards the end. They wipe you down too which is great so you're not oily when getting dressed. I was able to relax and felt relief in my muscles. CONS: I didn't like that my masseuse didn't introduce herself and went straight into it. She didn't ask how much pressure I'd like or check in with me if I was ok throughout the session. I'm a shy person and I like to trust that the professional is doing what she needs to do to relieve me of muscle tension. Thankfully the pressure was fine. When she went too hard, I'd tell her. She took a while massaging me under the sheet and didn't do any scalp/head and neck massages. I also paid extra for the reflexology (massages mainly hands and feet). She didn't do half of the things in the description. She didn't do the bubbling foot soak, soothing aromatherapy lotions nor did she massage my hands. My hands are in pain a lot hence I did this add-on. Once again, lots of staying in one place and just rubbing and pressing. Very similar to just rubbing your feet on those wooden foot massage tools. I'll emphasize that I get massages all the time so I know the difference. I don't know if she was having an off day or inexperience, but it was a lot of just rubbing and less technique throughout the session. But it got the job done for my back. Not really a con, because I'm used to this sort of setup. You can hear everything. When people walk in, conversations, footsteps, etc. It wasn't super busy so the sounds weren't distracting. Just a heads up it may get loud on busier days. It doesn't bother me. Overall: I really wanted to like this place and make this my regular spot. I'm willing to give it another chance. Hopefully with a different person. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get her name. But this has potential and I want to see what other masseuse's can do. I'm a big believer in 2nd chances and this place gave me good vibes as well.
