I’ve been coming here for a year and have had nothing but wonderful massages from everyone on their team! If you tell your masseuse where you’re in pain they will focus part of your massage on alleviating that discomfort. Best for people who appreciate a good amount of pressure/ a massage therapist who will actually address underlying knots/ muscle issues. I leave this place feeling light and loose. It also feels worth noting that, in my experiences, the masseuses have all been trustworthy, respectful, and professional. When you come be prepared to leave the attentive masseuses a $20 tip.

Fantastic no frills massage. Masseuses are strong and do a great job of really getting into the muscles. Make sure you tell them of any issues you have because they won’t ask. You go in, you lay down, you get a massage and leave. Perfect for me. Great prices to!

I think this is the best place for deep tissue in downtown Boston. Highly recommending John & Lilly.. I've chronic pain at times & the sessions have been very helpful so far.

Perhaps the management should consider paying their masseuses more, I offered a 20% tip for a massage and was scoffed at, asked for more. Don't get me wrong, tips are lovely: they support someone who deserves some extra cash, and especially they come as a gesture of kindness from the customer. Aside from the rudeness, the masseuse hardly spoke English and it didn't feel as rejuvenating as massages from other places, only painful.

I don’t think they know how the low medium high pressure works. I kept asking the lady to put less pressure which she did not understand, when I asked her to do more softly, she obliged and massaged softly for few seconds and then back to high speed high pressure massaging. I kept reminding her to go slow and soft but she kept going back. It was not relaxing at all. I was still okay with it but after few hours my back feels so sore as if someone punched me multiple times. It is so bad that I need to take painkillers. I have been going for massages for many years now and never experienced this. One star is for other services like timeliness and courtesies. However, I’m not planning on going back.
