I never used to be the kind of person into getting a massage. Dealing with day-to-day stress can sometimes be too much where sometimes we need a little help to reset. The folks here really know what they’re doing finding where all the stress and tension settles. The only thing that I’ve mentioned a few times before getting started was that I was dealing with a bad headache. I’ve had several people there work on me and they are all very professional, and really good at what they do. This is a great place to go to treat yourself to.

I called U&I this past weekend at the advice of a friend who has been using this massage clinic for many years. Booking an appointment later that same day was super easy (I texted my request and they responded within 30 mins or so). Eric listened to what I had going on with my leg/hip (which was a lot!!), made some suggestions, explained what was/was not going on, and asked me one specific question which explained why the pain had even started to begin with. Yesterday I could not walk (no exaggeration). This morning, I was able to get up and down from a sitting position without the use of a cane ...and I forgot to take any pain medication all day. I am going back tomorrow - booked a 2nd appointment on the way out the door. I have found my new go to massage clinic. Quick in and out - and VERY good pricing. I paid $100 + tip for a 90 min massage and the best advice. Thank you Eric! A++++++++!

As a fellow massage therapist in Reno, I can give the therapist at U&I an honest review. The only chair massage in town that you can literally walk in when it is busy and not get turned away. I refer my own clients to them when I am fully booked. The therapist are highly skilled in chair massage and offer the option to lay on a table as well if you don’t like the chair. They have a kiosk where you sign in initially, and a store front space around the corner if you want privacy. The massage is traditional chair massage style where you leave clothes on. No sheets or oil is used. they apply compression , rocking, tapotement, trigger point and stretching. Make sure you let them know if you want less or more pressure just like any massage. If you don’t tell them, they can’t read your mind. You can request 10 min up to 90 min. The prices are fair and stay true to local rates. A little more than $1 a min. I highly recommend U&I as a back up to your own therapist or when you are in a pinch and just need a quick massage to work out some much needed stress. No appointments are necessary however they will make you an appointment if you call ahead.

One of the best massages. Eric, seasoned and clearly experienced in his technique. Not too soft, not too hard, and all the right techniques to stimulate the nerves and muscles so that it's relaxing and good. Masseuse seems like 30 years experience.
