www.crowsmassage.comI cannot say enough positive things about Michael!! He is knowledgeable and provides amazing advice for self-treatment for when you're not in his studio. His massage technique is effective and I always leave feeling 10000% better than when I arrived. I think every athlete in Brooklyn/Manhattan should be visiting Crow's Massage on the reg! :)
Michael is excellent. As a healthcare provider myself, I’ve referred him patients from my dental practice who complain of head and neck soreness. As a member of the South Brooklyn Running Club, he is routinely referred athletes by our members whenever someone needs sports massage, or a preliminary expert opinion on athletic injuries.
Absolutely fantastic Shiatsu masseuse, and a great alternative to traditional physical therapy sessions. I've been going to Michael for about a year now, after spraining my rotator cuff and dealing with hip issues last summer. It took about 6 sessions to clear the pain, and with every session I could feel a measurable improvement. No other therapy helped me get back to the gym / yoga studio faster. He'll even give you instructions for performing PT at home with a massage ball or roller. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable about alternative massage therapy techniques such as cupping and scraping. Just be warned - he will NOT go easy on you! Be prepared for intense pressure. It's more of a high-impact physical therapy session than a normal relaxing massage. If you need one of those, save your money and grab a $60 massage from Chinatown.
This guy is freakishly talented. I’ve run 20 marathons and have never worked with a massage therapist who is so adept at diagnosing issues and finding effective, targeted solutions. He’s a genius!
The best massage in NYC for runners. Crows Massage has kept me injury free during heavy training. HIGHLY recommend.
